Live Wire Sculpture’s “Flame Tree” Himalayan pink salt lamp and wire Tree Sculpture

The salt lamp basket was a gift from a friend in Wollongong, I made the sculpture on it and had it in the Lazy Lizard gallery where I exhibit in Cobargo NSW.
Then I heard that a local person liked it very much and had commented on it.

That local person with her husband and son, plus her sister and I were among those evacuated from our properties to Narooma during the Black Summer NY 2020 bushfires.
None of us had supplies or internet/phone..
We shared what we had… food, booze, fuel etc.
After hearing how much she admired this sculpture, I gave the Flame Tree to her and her family for her birthday .
Her sister got a salt lamp tree gift from me too.
The Flame Tree owner, her sister and brother in law still run the local Quaama Store and Post Office.
