‘Once Was..Will Be Again’ recycled wood and wire sculpture

Down in the South Coast of NSW (Cobargo area) Alan’s block is growing anew -3 years since the Bushfires
Alan continues to use burned or molten pieces from the fire on his own property to create new sculptures.
” Once Was.. Will Be Again’ is the latest piece and is on Sale at The Lazy Lizard Gallery in Cobargo.
Alan describes how he envisaged the sculpture:
“The fire didn’t quite kill the tree that the base came from… it is growing back up and around the charred stump – and what was once a huge tree home with many ‘tenants’, will grow again to be a home for new ones”
